How Old Am I: 10 Favorite Albums

Another one from Ten on Tuesday. Anyone who knows me one iota knows that there is only one artist for me. But rather than have a list compiled only of his albums, I decided to limit him to five. Of course, they’d be the top five. And I intentionally did not pick any of his greatest hits compilations. I realize I’m dating myself with the other selections. I’m okay with that. I am old. I’m glad I’m the driver and I don’t have to listen to the crap my kids want to listen to. Yet.

1. Born to Run (Bruce Springsteen)
2. Darkness on the Edge of Town (Bruce Springsteen)
3. The River (Bruce Springsteen)
4. The Rising (Bruce Springsteen)
5. Greetings from Asbury Park (Bruce Springsteen)
6. 1 (The Beatles)
7. Rumours (Fleetwood Mac)
8. Tapestry (Carole King)
9. Greatest Hits (James Taylor)
10. The Stranger (Billy Joel)

Great list! I can't believe I forgot Rumours! It was the first album I ever owned, and is still one of my favorites.

I can tell you are a big fan of Bruce Springteen ;) He was good too...listen to some of his musics but not all. And Billy Joe was also one of the artist singer I would listen to too :)

Great list! Happy Ten on Tuesday! Here is Mine!

Great list, we like a lot of the same singers--for instance, Bruce Springsteen! :)

Some great choices. I never got into Tapestry, even with the tribute album whch I own. Springsteen definitely is worthy. I saw him on the Human Touch tour, and again in the early 00's when he reassembled the E Street Band. Similar likings for Joel as we saw him on the Bridge Tour and again when he first toured with Elton John.
