10 Things Most People Don't Know About Me

I’m making two assumptions for the Ten on Tuesday prompt this week. One, “most people” refers to F&B people I know. Two, they’ve not read my random things about me lists.

1. I hate social situations with a passion, if the situation includes mostly people who are not my friends.

2. I am forever waiting to be found out to be a fraud or incompetent or something along those lines.

3. I proposed to my husband. He accepted, forever screwing up our totally cool tax scheme.

4. I can sing the alphabet backwards very quickly.

5. I have an irrational fear of catastrophe. I always expect the worst. At least that means I walk through life mostly pleasantly surprised.

6. I saw the Beach Boys in concert three times. Willingly.

7. The first act I ever saw in concert was the Jackson Five. When Michael had a nose. And other parts that he appears to have lost. Or maybe he’s misplaced them.

8. I was a theatre geek in high school.

9. Until I was 34 – and pregnant – I never expected to have children.

10. I can touch my nose with my tongue.

Want to know others' hidden secrets – or talents? Go to Ten on Tuesday.

I understand about the being a pessimist thing. You get more nice surprises that way. My husband doesn't understand.

I'd like to talk a little more about #4.

My dad can touch his nose with his tongue, too. Always sort of weirds me out...which is probably why he feels the need to do it so often.

My mom can do that tongue to nose thing! I love your new look on the blog!

Have a great week!

I guess I'm a shy social person *grin* and I wish to hear you sing alphabet backwards. I notice many people had put that on their list

Your blog made me smile and chuckle! Great list!

Happy Ten on Tuesday!

I love, love, love the thing about catastrophe...I don't even call it pessimism...I say I'm a realist, but yes, it usually means I'm pretty happy because those things DON'T happen.
And I can touch my tongue to my nose-learned that one from MY mom!

I'm with you on #1. I'm a very social person as long as I know 70% of the people around me.

I did not want children at all until my friend Jenn got pregnant. The baby bug bit hard. My family was stunned to learn that I actually wanted kids of my own.

Oh yeah, to answer your question, I was 19 when my SIL and I got into that fight. It is still a topic of discussion at every family reunion :)

You have a great list. No. 2 is interesting, I think most of us feel that way now and then.
