Haiku: Bugs and Creepy Crawlies


A looming spider:
No nursery rhyme nor reason
calms my little boy’s fears.


The night life of my
childhood, past memories
blinking on and off.

Your haiku are wonderful. We can all relate to the fear of surprise upon encountering the big spider. Oh, I miss those "lightening bugs".

We should make some sort of nursery rhyme to celebrate spiders that are doing a great job at keeping mosquitoes out of our way.
