Haiku: (Wild)flowers

Pave over poppies
and seed houses without yards.
Plant “wild” flowers.

Amid tame flowers,
“Adopted by NAME HERE” signs
populate the road.

Nicely done.
I have to give that a try - two haiku that play off one another.
See you again soon.

Those are awesome. I really like the second one. Powerful and practical. About your comment. Use anything of mine when you please-just give me credit. May want to copy it now as I am taking down the poetry on my site (as I do every 6 months)to publish another book. If you need it later then just let me know. I may try to keep up the ones that were for memes.

I like the idea of wild flowers among the cultivated or 'tame' flowers.

Okay, I'm going to assume the butterfly bush is yours. It's beautiful. I wish I could have one in my zone.

Very nice! The image of the flowers and sign together is so true --I see that on the road a lot -- nature with man-made metal. I like that contrast of free/tame flowers with "adopted by"right in the middle.

I too like the fact that the "wild ones" sneak into the garden. NIce poems.
