On an outing to a regional park, the kids eschewed the slides, the swings, the fields, and opted instead to wander around an historical cemetery. At least they got along. Hope not too many rolled in their graves. Want to hear others speak without talking? Head on over to Wordless Wednesday.

I find cemeteries very interesting places. That doesn't make me odd, does it?? Nah! Happy WW!

Check out my contest!
I love to spend time in old church graveyards myself. There is something about them. Happy WW
you have a wonderful looking family :) Happy WW.
I really like your blog, also your ww photo is quite interesting to say the least. Most people get the creeps when it comes to graveyards, I do not.
Seems a bit creepy to me, but if they were enjoying themselves and getting along- great!
Interesting name, Patois ;)
I love cemeteries, ours look so much different to yours though.
Well, as long as they got along. What is it about kids that they like cemetary's? Have a great WW. :)
I love old grave yards. I could walk around in them all day!
The children probably perked up the place :)

Very interesting that they would choose to hang out in the cemetery rather than the playground. Maybe they learned something!
Great pictures , interesting place. Happy WW.

Aha, there is something that draws people to graveyards. It is so cool to read the epitaphs and figure how old (or young) the person was.
Hey, it kept the kids occupied, eh?
Happy WW!
What a beautiful picture. Happy WW.
They choose to go to the graveyard and yet they look so normal
Sounds like you had a good day out
:-)
Graveyards have such cool smells
My kids are fascinated by graveyards. The older, the better. I think it's common.
I find this a fascinating picture. Even as young 'uns, we are drawn to the places where loved ones are buried, even if we don't know them. Great photo!
Cuties. We like to take walks in a nearby cemetery. It's kind of gothic and secluded. Perfect for walks with my two hellions. We saw a doe prancing through the headstones Monday night. Pretty.
Obviously, young scholars and genealogists. :-)
They prefer playing in an old graveyeard? I guess not much scares 'em eh?

I've been known to wander around old cemeteries myself.
I love graveyards. People think I'm strange, but they're so interesting.
Thanks so much for visiting me :)
