We begin afraid,
pointing a beam on shadows,
lighting the alleys.
In the middle years
we embrace both light and dark,
scarcely watching time.
Once twilight arrives,
we seek the cloak of shadows
and flee from the light.

an interesting take on the stations of life
I like the way this develops.
These are so beautiful and moving, and the rhythm fits so perfectly. It makes me see why the 5-7-5 form works, and works well!!
insightful series this.
i like these VERY much...led through a progression w/ a light hand...so well done!
These, all three, are very interesting and creative. The second speaks to me. So true. I really like the first line of one. Thanks for these.
The progression of life, light, shadow and time is exquisite in this. Really nice!
life in few words...great!
