It's inexplicable to me, truly, that Jeni at Down River Drivel would give me a Nice Matters Award. According to Jeni, the award is given for:
"...those bloggers who are nice people; good blog friends and those who inspire good feelings and inspiration. Also for those who are a positive influence on our blogging world. Once you've been awarded please pass it on to others who you feel are deserving of this award."
Jeni, clearly a deserving recipient, says this -- this -- about me:
"Another new addition to my favorites list is this SAHM. She writes about the goings on in her home with her husband, children, their activities and such with style, grace, humor and once again -NICE - very nice, so I think she deserves this award too."
She came to her senses somewhere in her post and named really worthy ones. (Here's the link to her post.) But she hasn't come completely to her senses 'cause she's not rescinded the one she gave me. And, frankly, I'm worried that Jeni will lose hers when the creator of the award realizes that Jeni has passed one onto me. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't come to pass.
In terms of passing it on? That'll be pretty tough. I read loads and loads of blogs, but they're nearly all by snarky people and the like. You know, by people like me. There's one glaring exception, though, and that's Jenica. She's divine. She's darling. She's sweet. She's funny. And she's got the cutest kids -- a gaggle of them and growing -- and I love to keep up with her. Here you go, Jenica and The One Little One. Nice Matters, lady!
BTW, if I've offended any of you other bloggers whom I regularly read with that "snarky" comment, oops. See what I mean about me not really deserving the award?
