Haiku: Simplicity

I am often grateful for how my life has become so simple since I stopped working more than a year ago. I'm not saying it's always easy. Lord knows, it's rarely easy. But it's quite simplistic much of the time.

Thank you to One Deep Breath for the prompt this week and every week. You make it so simple for me to try this limitless poetic form.

There are two ku this week, both indicative of the simple life I lead.

Ahhhhh, Simplicity!
A plastic spider
in little hand creeps unseen.
Mom screams while son laughs.

My waiting room perch.
Hearing loud tunes, girls dancing
and my deep breathing.

How cute! The spider - I hear the shriek and the laughter - darling boy!

LOL! what mother has not had a good scare now and then from their kids playfulness.
BTW, the form for the permalink looks like this:

The title goes here
with the link in quote marks. If you click on the title of your post the permalink is in the address bar of your browser. Highlight and copy (Ctl + C) the link from the address bar then paste it between the "" in the code which looks like this:
title here
I know this is a little complex at first but with a little practice your permalinks will look great. I hope this helps.

Oh gosh. While explaining how to do the permalink I inadvertently created actual links so you can't see the format and I'm not sure I can show you how I did it without actually doing it!
So forget everything after the first sentence in my comment. I'll try to find another way to show you how to do it.

The first one made me laugh... so cute, and what an adorable photo.

But I am certainly loving the second one.

Thanks for visiting my page, greatly appreciated. :)

It's funny how sometimes people confuse easy with simple.

"Spiders and snails, and puppy dog tails" - and I hate spiders! But even more, I hate snakes as did my ex-husband. But it still didn't stop him one day from picking up a rubber snake in the old 5 & 10 cent store in a nearby town to us and throw it on me just to watch me jump and scream and almost wet my pants too. Also brought the clerk running. We all had a good laugh over it although it took a good while for my heartrate to drop back down in the process. The older daughter still laughs about that stunt as she was with him when he did that!
