Just Another Manic Monday

Clearly, the ladies in the Bangles were all unattached and unburdened with children when they trotted that song out. Mondays are a breeze. It's the mania on the weekends that get us.

Saturday, we've got the daughter and the youngest making Styrofoam friends. Both are having longer conversations with said "friends" than they ever have with anyone else in the household.

Saturday night, we've got friends coming over for dinner, and their youngest daughter and our youngest son get into the costumes and come up looking like this:
We've finally got the Halloween store opened up in the mall, so we take the kids Sunday. Pete does this:

Not to be outdone, my usually shy-beyond-words and don't-comment-loudly-near-him-in-public-or-he'll-shrink-down-in-shame eldest, does this:
Is it any wonder my children have happened upon all the rage on the computers of grade school children throughout America?

My friend sent me that jingle bells on email and I didn't know what was going to happen and my daughter watched it with me. Not so great. Now I know better.

And I love that Bangles song. For that matter, I love all their songs.

Too bad your post wasn't up here before I had my morning coffee as that recording could have worked better than the coffee as a waker-upper! Funny, really funny though!

Well, I was kinda sitting at my desk with one eye open here, but I'm awake NOW!! Very funny! So were the photos of the kids, easy to tell they were having a great time!

Hee hee. I am such a dope. I can't believe I fell for that one. I have seen a few of these in the past, but this one was new. Not as scary as the one my husband got me on. He decided to "get" Morgan, my youngest. Not such a good idea. She ran screaming all the way to her room and sat huddled in a corner crying and shaking. Yeah, not good, not good at all.
