This time leading up to Thanksgiving is the perfect occasion to thank my blogging pals who've seen fit to give me an award.
Thanks to Tegdirb92 at "...And Miles to Go Before We Sleep..." for the lovely bestowal of the Blog of the Month award upon me. I feel very honored, and I feel a bit surprised, but I'm sure that's just my false modesty shining through.
The award-winning Blog Author Ann Clemmons of A Nice Place in the Sun is again paying it forward, passing on awards she has received to me (and others). Be The Blog is the brainchild of Mark of Me and My Drum. Mark says the award "really sums up what a successful blogger does. And what I mean by successful is that they make it their own, stay with it, are interactive with their readers, and just plain have fun."
Busy, busy Ann also awarded me a Winning Attitude award, originating at Monday Morning Power. According to MMP, this "award is based on positive thinking and is meant for those blogs who base their existence, in part or in whole, on Positive Winning Attitudes." Well, I guess I do in part. [I don't whine all the time, right?]
It is Ann I must thank yet again for the Colors of Friendship Award. I think the title says it all. And thank you, Ann.
Finally, this is not an award but a little something I think you should totally check out. You'll be thankful you did. I loved it. My dear friend, the bitch who is apparently moving to New Zealand, has been surfing the web for tons of information on her home-to-be. She happened upon some work done at a very tech-savvy public school. Check it out. Anyone who has ever played with Legos before will be amazed. [Oh, and as for the "bitch" reference, this is how I cope with people leaving me: I make them hateful creatures. Alas, it is not working.]
