Her name is Corrie, and she's a Catahoula Leopard mix. We got her from the Humane Society when she was about five months old. She'll be two in March. (We celebrate her birthday on St. Patrick's Day.) She is howling in response to fire engines. It is what she does. She'll also howl when we play the harmonica, which we only do when my poor husband is not around as it drives him insane.
