What catastrophe
awaits us this coming week?
Daddy is away.
Positives are few:
one less mouth, less dirty clothes,
less junk left around.
Negatives abound:
I pick up his daily tasks.
Children not amused.
Harder to put down
for sleep, harder to get up.
Tearful “Where’s Daddy?”
It’s Haiku Friday. Go check out the great ku. Yeah, you.

Oh yes, life is hard when Daddy is away. I hope things go as smoothly as possible. Good luck!
This is my life; daddy's gone A LOT for work. :(
When daddy's away
Life indeed gets a bit rough
Glad I'm not single.
I'm feeling your pain.
My husband's traveling for business again for the entire next week. Oh woe is me. And woe is you.
Great kus Patois.
You have my sympathies. It is rough to have one less pair of hands, for all sorts of reasons. Here's hoping it's a brief trip, and it flies for you all.
Aw, "Tearful 'Where's Daddy?'"
(Sniff)
Ugh. I HATE it when Bing is away (and she travels a lot to give presentations at Apple seminars) and am always amazed at how nothing seems to run smoothly without her.
I hope he is home to you soon.
Life sucks big donkey balls when Dad's away. Mine's heading out on Monday & I'm already feeling the tension. Eat lots of leftover Halloween candy!!
This was us last week! Hope he returns soon!
Sounds like us since Daddy's OT schedule sucks. I keep saying I didn't sign up for single parenting. But the bright side is the time we have with him is that much sweeter. :)
Ooh, yeah, a bit rough when a second set of hands isn't around to help.
Daddy works nights here, so I get bedtime battle. Why do they go to bed for daddy better??
Ah yes, it bites when Daddy's out of town. I used to hate when that happened. I hope it's a smooth ride for all of you! It also bites when you have my life, Daddy works nights.
What happens to me is when daddy comes home, he brings a bag full of dirty clothes back with him. ;D
They're nice to have around the house (well, most of the time) though. :D
Aw! So sad...great ku though!
Glad LM can't talk yet! I'm sure he'll be pining for Dad soon enough!
