Every morning, well before 7 a.m., the mutton head and I go down to the field for her morning exercise. Often, I get to witness the daily struggle as morning wrests control from the night. This morning was again one of those. Now if only I could remember to bring my camera along. Please, see all kinds of beauty at One Deep Breath.
Night fights to survive
against an onslaught of pink.
Morning wins again.

I know the feeling! I am one of those oddballs who also likes the very short days of early winter, so this poem resonates with me.
God bless.

I like this! One of my favorite things to do is watch the sun rise. Stunning!
I really liked this, dawn being a fight is an unusual angle to take. Well done :)
