Two choices. Pick one to jump. Yeah, you know what "jump" means. Ignore your sexual orientation. Ignore their sexual orientation. Ignore if they're too old or too dead for you.
Jump 1 is the ever-boyish imp Hugh Grant of movie fame. I could probably cite many of his movies with little difficulty as they include some of my favorite. (I am an Anglophile, after all.) There's "Four Weddings and a Funeral." There's "Notting Hill." There's "Love, Actually." There's "Bridget Jones' Diary." For many years, he was with the ever-lovely Elizabeth Hurley. And for a few minutes, he was with Miss Divine Brown. (Remember, in the backseat of a car?) He's now with some other equally lovely young thing.
Jump 2 is another Hugh, this one Hugh Laurie. Most of us know him as the title character on Fox's "House." Sounds remarkably American to our ears, doesn't he? And, yet, he's a British comedian, quite famous in his country of birth. He and comedic partner Stephen Fry were known as, wait for it, Fry and Laurie. (A bit anti-climatic, eh?) He's married with children.
Well? Is it Jump 1?
Or Jump 2?
If you had asked me, oh, four years ago, I'd have said Grant hands down. Of course, I also would have said, "Who the hell is Hugh Laurie?" But, oh my, Mr. Laurie is my clear winner. My latest crush, the man is. He's handsome in my book. And his acting? Superb. The fact that his personal life is not in shambles only adds to his plus column.
How about you? Who are you going to jump?
