The Mane Award

A Roar for Powerful Words
I don't think I can adequately thank Linda for the very kind honor she has bestowed upon me: A Roar for Powerful Words award. She also wrote some kick-ass words about me. You can read all about it on her Are We There Yet? post about it.

Seamus of The Shameless Lions Writing Circle created the award. He said it should be awarded"to those people who have blogs we love, can't live without, where we think the writing is good and powerful." Dang. Clearly, Linda doesn't get around much if she's putting me up there. [Is false modesty better than no modesty?]

Anyway, I don't think there are many awards out there which I'm as thrilled to get as this one. To whom should I now bestow it?

I don't know if it goes without saying around these here parts that Bub and Pie is one of my absolutely, positively must-reads. I love her. I love her brilliance. I love her poignancy. I stalk her regularly.

I'm also going to give a shout out and bestow this upon Mishelle of Secret Agent Mama fame. She's got a way cool theme to her blog. I am constantly amazed at how prolific she is. And it's all good stuff.

Thanks again, Linda. I shall roar with pride.

Glad you liked it! Sorry it's taken me so long to get over to say so - it's been a hectic couple of days with more on the horizon!
