The Week in Review: Weekly Winners

Sarcastic Mom started a new happening on Sunday: the best photos of the week. As my photography skills leave something to be desired, I will rely on the quality of the subjects to dictate which are the weekly winners. Check out others' offerings, too.

There's Always One in the Bunch:

Wild Turkey in my Yard. Sadly, Not the Drinking Kind:

Dear Santa, Please Bring Me New Shoes:

Santa Claus Came to Church:

Tiny Santa and Giant Elf:

Finally, A Christmas Card:

Well done you, and a fine looking gene pool there. Did you duct tape their feet to the floor?
Best wishes

Ahhh! I love the face in the first photo! And in the last one... she's quite attached to that doll, no?

Haha @ Wild Turkey

Okay, first off, you don't want the Wild Turkey in your yard, you want it in your cupboard so that you can have easy access to put it in your glass. Of course, having a wild turkey in your tree certainly would make one cautious of walking under that particular tree! I didn't know they roosted in trees - fascinating!

Alright then, enough about the turkeys - I love that first photo and the last one is quite lovely. How did you get them to stand still long enough to get the shot??

Nice pics! I love the holiday card one.

And I'm impressed at how high up the wild turkey managed to get. Somehow I always assumed they couldn't actually fly very high...

I think the first shot is so funny but my favourite is the shoes, mainly cos of the caption.
Fancy having wild turkeys in a tree. So weird to see. I thought turkeys were bald, chilled and came wrapped in cellophane.

The first one is cute with the scrunched up face. That tree and wild turkey shot is quite spectacular actually.

I love the sneakers! My daughter has a similar pair. She's trying to create the illusion nobody around here works for a living! Ha. But they're broken in...

Why is it that everyone that I know can take these cute, sweet photos and when I take a picture, someone has their eyes shut or is looking off to the left or moving?

Wild turkey in the yard, huh? Wow - the two oldest sure were cut from the same cloth weren't they now! Can't get that good a look at the little guy in comparison to the two older ones there though. But some great pics all the same!
