Infectious disease
strikes us both when my fingers
tickle his armpits.

Nothing lifts spirits
more swiftly than the laughter
my demons often spew.

Very nice.... and such a sweet picture to go with them. Made me smile.
Great looking demons you have. Your two wonderfully happy poems made me laugh.
Adorable demons, to be sure. We all need them to lift our spirits. Well done.

that is so true!
Two great haikus about your children. Great photo too! :)
These are so fun; the first one is perfectly true for me as well as for many, I imagine! Thank you.
demons spew laughter. that's fresh. :)
There is nothing children's laughter to infect us with joy. This is great!
I like the second one, a devilish haiku
laughter is an infectious disease! so neat! I like that. And of course, it has to be demons that spread that plague!!!
I love your haikus...I like the idea of laughter as infectious disease. It tickles my fancy!
Hi Patois, it's good to hear from you again! Your kids are still adorable and your words are still so powerful. Beautiful ku my friend.
ah yes this makes me laugh
A classic. One can't contain a giggle reading and looking at the picture!
Laughter is contagious and from such a one, how could you resist indeed?
oh i LOVE it! sounds like a good wall poem for my kids room!
such a pretty pic of daughter as well.
ahhh, spoken like a true mother... how do they do what they do??
It is wonderful how small hearts 'spew' laughter on us!
One of mine, more so than the others, has this especially fine tuned! He will push my limits, as he knows me to well, and I always ending up cracking a smile. He knows exactly what he is doing!
Great haikus to go with a lovely photo!
Really great haikus and picture,I like them both!
The kids smiles spread
And so dose the atmosphere
They make the world spin
