Lucky Town?

What are the chances that I'll get front row center again for a Springsteen concert? I mean, last time I had the back problem that enabled me to get there. Friday night in Sacramento, we've got general admission tickets. Do you think I can convince Pete to pull up his shirt to show his still-fresh triple bypass wound? I mean, Jerry and I are tight. Who's Jerry? Why he's the one in charge of letting the disabled folks in ahead of everyone else. It's how I scored front row center last time.

Perhaps I'm getting slightly ahead of myself. I mean, I've yet to find a babysitter for the kids Friday night. Is 11, 9.5 and 6 in 11 days too young to stay home alone until 11:30 or so at night? Would you call Child Protective Services on us for that? I was afraid so.

You are lucky. I say do whatever gets you up front. Would flashing Jerry help?

The neighbors up the street would think nothing of leaving them home alone. Two summers ago, they went to the races (30 minutes away) and left their 7 year old in charge of the 3 year old and 18 month old. The 3 year old went missing and the 7 year old had to drag the baby on her hip from house to house looking for her. LOSERS. I was close to calling CPS. Boy the stories I could tell you about them.

I agree with Jolene, do whatever it takes with Jerry to get up front. ;)

Good luck on the babysitter front! I hope it all works out for ya'll.

IF (BIG IF) you were to get those same tickets, me thinks you should play the lottery.

Cool! I think I told you I was/am quite a Springsteen fan. I probably saw him about 6 or 7 times in concert, but all over about a five-year period. I know he just played in Paris. I need to catch up on a few of his recordings...sound like you had a great time!

I mentioned to Eldest the other night that I had a fairly wide open day Friday. Writer that he is, he wondered if I would perhaps like a wri...
