Hee-Haw, It's Haiku

So, yeah, it's ridiculous to even write a 'ku when Jenn in Holland writes circles around me in her sleep. I think she wins whenever she enters something. Don't you just hate people like that? Yeah, me, too.

Through her, I heard about My Mommy's Place and her Haiku Buckaroo III: Haiku With a Vengeance. It's a contest. You still have time to enter. It ends Friday at 11:59 p.m. EST. [Don't be thinkin' I waited until the "last minute." I've been busy, what with a rotator cuff tear and tendinitis and on and on and on.] [Yeah, I'm hoping for the pity vote.]

Do enter. Really. I love 'ku. I love reading it. I love thinking it. I love writing it. Now, without further delay, my one little 'ku.

Wanderlust isn't gone for good, just taking a break. At least that's what I tell myself.

That's a good start, right?

AND- hahahahahahaha! That Jenn in Holland writes Haiku for shit (but I have it on good authority that she LOVES the fact that you come 'round to give her shit--that's awesome!)
