Guess What Song I'm Singing in My Head?

Youngest has a new game, and it's a game designed to drive his mother to instant insanity. It is played dozens of times a day, and it is having the desired effect on me.

"Mom, guess what song I'm singing in my head?" he asks as soon as he awakens in the morning.

"Mom, guess what song I'm singing in my head?" he asks as we walk through the park to school.

"Mom, guess what song I'm singing in my head?" he asks walking back through the park after school.

"Mom, guess what song I'm singing in my head?" he asks as we run mutton-head's butt off chasing balls.

"Mom, guess what song I'm singing in my head?" he asks as we turn out the lights to go to bed.

There's never any clue, mind you. It's in his head. Get it? So good freakin' luck trying to guess the song.

"Do you give up? Do you? Does everyone give up?"

YES! YES! A THOUSAND TIMES, YES!

Hey, want to know what songs are going through my head during this game? Oh, there are a bunch of them. Some of them are well known, like "Killing Me Softly," "Suicide is Painless," and "Don't Fear the Reaper." Others are ones I make up, all on my own, "Please, Just Shoot Me Now" and "Death is Better Than This Game."

Man, I feel better just getting these thoughts out of my head. Don't forget to tune in next time for more misadventures of Driving Mom Crazy.

I can't decide which is worse: "Guess what song I'm singing in my head?"or what I go through, the song being sung outside the head repeatedly.

That is the BEST game. I always have some damn song stuck in my head, and I'm very nice about sharing them with my husband. Early Wham! seems to be a big favorite in my brain, apparently.

Don't worry..before you know it, he won't be talking to you at all. And if he does, it will be things like..."Guess how many beers I had before driving home?" Hmm.
