So, yeah, it's officially autumn. To celebrate, Youngest decided to romp in the pool. He knows I officially "close" it at the end of September, so he's thrilled that his remaining days of pool time are warm ones.
Here he is, being his silly self. I miss having that silly self with myself for most of the day. In many ways, he's such a third kid. [If you don't get the reference, you're not a parent to three or more.] My missing him marks him forever as the baby. And such a "water baby" at that.

Ahhhhh! What a great series of shots! I hope those fire engines stay far away from ya'll.
If you are missing having a silly one around during the day, I'd be glad to send mine over until our school resumes. Don't worry, we are scheduled to go back Monday so it'll only be for a few days. ;)
I know the feeling. I miss mine terribly all day. Then, I wish someone else would make dinner and clean it up so I could hang out with the kids instead of slaving in the kitchen. Oh wait, it's pizza night! OH, I mean, it's chinese food night! Or, is it frozen waffle night? Hmmm,
It's weird how much I miss my kids in the day...
They still drive me nuts in the evening though.
what a sweet series of photos - i like that they are sepia as it gives them a timelessness quality. hearing the "mom - look at me" he will know that he was seen with this series
