Sunday Scribblings: Forbidden

A very long story, abbreviated immensely, in response to Sunday Scribblings' prompt of forbidden.

Nothing seems to stop
this inexplicable pain.
Immobilized arm.

Yes, for two weeks I shall be the one-armed wonder, forbidden to use my quite dominant right arm. My expectation is I shall return to the orthopedic doctor at the end of the ban, only to have her throw both arms up in the air and cry, "Uncle."

Until the ban is lifted, expect the unexpected from me: brevity. [Please, no need for sympathy or medical advice. But thanks anyway!]
