Remember my rant about Toys R Us awhile back? I need to update you. I posted that on a Saturday. By Monday, I was contacted via email by someone at the corporate level at Toys R Us. We spoke by phone on Tuesday morning. Within hours, I had also spoken to the regional manager here and the store manager.
All of those conversations were 100% positive. They said and did all the right things to make things right by me. On Saturday, I went to Toys R Us, met the manager in person, and got an even better MP3 player at the original sale price.
The world's biggest toy store has done their best to make it right for me. And I want all of you to know that.
Why call this "An Obligatory Post," you wonder? Because I'm emotionally wasted right now, and there is a huge list of things I must do in order to get to England as soon as I can, and the last thing I want to do is take the time to write this. But it's something I needed to do: say thank you to those in this huge corporation who probably wished they'd never heard of me.
Thank you, Toys R Us.
