Two sons, one daughter
work in concert to ensure
no life of my own.
You say "distraction"
to describe my daily life.
I say "my children."
I thought about writing about being distracted by the pounding rain for this week's One Single Impression, but I never got a chance to do so because, well, I got diverted. Don't you be distracted by reading the offerings of other poets this week.

Ahhh...I know the truth about which you write.
Into a life, some distractions fall! :) Good post!
Oh how so many of us can relate :) Very well haiku'd.
That's a story I am familiar with! Some distractions are two-legged blesings!
I just have one kid at home now... but he is distraction enough for four.
Nicely penned poem.
Mine are all grown up and are still distractions. ;) Nice choice!
Kids sure do take a lot of time, distracting at times when we have plans of our own.
Your kids learn to humor you in taking picture posing. They'd better or they'll waste their precious time procrastinating.
..
BTW, to you want to race? Who will make it to the Grand Canyon first, you guys or us?
..
Love the humor in this!
