Haiku: Doodles

Not often simple
discerning a child's art
from scribble-scrabble.

Oh, come on, you, 'fess up: if you've ever been exposed to a child's "masterpiece," especially a very young child's work of art, you know just what I'm talking about.

[For One Single Impression. Go see the artistic doodles of the poets.]

[An aside regarding my "do-over" request of last night. The lab results the doctor wanted to discuss related to my thyroid. It might very well be toast or be in need of nuking. We're going to try some meds first, and see how that works out over the next six weeks. What's my take-away on this? I have two. One, believe the receptionist when she says in the future that the doctor will call me if it's really bad news. Two, never take a call from my doctor if he ever rings me up.]

Yes, but you keep them!

Good luck with your tests.

As I sit over a pile of artwork and wonder which are the keepers, I relate to your poem completely.

And I relate to your thyroid completely. May it all work out well.

Hello patois--
When taught elementary education I got really good at saying, 'tell me about your picture!' And then, of course, as the words came, I could see the whole picture. Silly me for not being able to before the words, but, adults are silly that way.

Thanks for letting us know about the tests and all--keep us posted, yes?

Oh, yes - I'm thinking maybe a wall devoted to those doodles would be a good thing - good luck with the tests and meds.
