All you vampire fans, move along. The poets at One Single Impression are claiming the word as their own this week. Don't forget to see how other non-bloodsuckers envision twilight.
As for me, I can only offer this:
Sudden reversal
of what is and what is not.
Shadows gain control.

It's a beautiful time of the day. Or do I mean it's a beautiful time of the night? No matter, there is beauty all around as the gradual darkening sky seemingly thuds into night all at once. I took this photo last summer at Uncle Ken's and Aunt Margaret's gorgeous place in Wales. Looking at the photo whisks me back there, to a time when Ken could still be found, before his twilight came.

Beautiful little 'ku, and that eye in the sky, too!
It's beautiful....and I could really feel the tone.
Beautiful - the fine line between then and now shows so clearly...
A beautiful photograph to inspire your words. Well done!
I like the way you put that.
Beautiful picture, powerful words!
The NaisaiKu.. Challenge!
Patty, you have such a beautiful way with words! I always love reading what you write.
What a lovely thought to go with the lovely picture. I truly love the way you paint a picture with your words.
It's astounding Time is... fleeting Madness... takes its toll. But listen closely...
Not for very much longer!
I've got to... keep... control...
So beautifully said. I enjoyed this very much. Could just feel the peace!
Day becomes night and is no longer. Life becomes death and is no longer. The inbetween time is both precious and confusing.
I am sorry about your uncle Ken but I am glad that you got to see him last year.
..
A truly beautiful tribute and take on the prompt. The photo is amazing. Thanks Patois!
Hugs, G
