Wordy Wednesday #50: Spread the Word Around

I was a huge fan of Thin Lizzy's "The Boys are Back in Town." [Not that I could have picked the members of Thin Lizzy out of a line-up, mind you.] A girl left behind to finish her senior year of high school while so many of her friends went away to college, this song sang to me. Of course, the fact that it glorified boozing it up can't be denied as contributing to my feelings about it.

Cue the "Time Passing" Music.

They're back! Those girls are back! My kids are so happy to see them that it's like a non-stop amusement ride when the two girls are with my kids. And the best part of their return? They are as free and crazy as ever. Which puts them at the same level as Youngest.

The Girls are Back in Town
That jukebox in the corner blasting out my favorite song
The nights are getting warmer, it won't be long
Won't be long till summer comes
Now that the GIRLS are here again

Welcome back, Kiwis. Oh, and thanks for bringing your parents back with you.
