Can't use right arm at all for at least one week. Swollen like the time I had preeclampsia whilst birthing Eldest, only fingers are sausages, not all digits. Bad first night but so glad I'm on the right side of this eight-month ordeal.
Again, thanks for good vibes, thoughts and, so long as it's British, chocolate eaten in my honour. Taking it easy for a few days. More reading, less writing. More

Glad the surgery went well and that your prognosis is so good. [We have the technology...] Take is easy and let the peeps serve you like the Queen you are. =)
You and me both dearie. I'm under the knife later this morning [teeth] hopefully for the very last time. At least it doesn't affect my typing but I expect that the pain will affect my brain. Here's hoping we both recover sooner.
Cheers
Time to take it easy, rest and try to relax as much as possible anyway. If you can manage it, now's a good time to milk this for all it's worth and get people to wait on you then, hand and foot. Always nice to be able to turn that table a little bit once in a while.
Wishing you all the best in your recovery.
I'm so glad all is going well so far. You're in my heart, thoughts and prayers P.
You would be better. Stronger. Faster. If the surgery had cost $6 million. :)
This is good news. Yay! God-speed in your recovery.
I do remember Steve Austin. And his counterpart, The Bionic Woman.
I will undertake to eat lots of Bitish chocolate for you but not six million dollars worth :o)
I'm glad you felt like updating! Take care of yourself and get some R&R.
Sad to say I know who Steve Austin is....damn it! Did you find the anesthetic better than any other time. Two of my friend have been under already this year and were floored at how alert they were almost immediately....I think they've come a long way with the day you barfed after wards! I would be glad to eat the British Chocolate for ya...it's my favorite! Best wishes for a speedy recovery!!
Hugs Giggles....take care of that bionic arm too!
I am glad the surgery went well and I completely got your better, stronger, faster reference (70's TV rocked). I hope you are resting and taking care of yourself. I hope you spent the 8 months preparing the family to wait on you hand and foot (and arm).
I'm flooded with nostalgia. And grateful to be among a group who gets the reference and unashamedly declares that '70's tv rocked. (I miss my anti-social Saturday nights with Fantasy Island and The Love Boat.) Anyway, SO GLAD you've returned to us. Yay!
feel better!! get well soon!
