Wordy Wednesday #60: Who Lives in a Pineapple Under the Sea?
The tide pools near Bolinas were fascinating for the kids. Our very, very, very good friend Haley turned the big 0-8. No big party at the Chuckster's or some other overdone venue for Hailstorm. Nope, her idea of a good time was hanging out at the seashore. [Tho' she wasn't selling any seashells.]
Although we found a few sizable starfish and crabs and loads upon loads of seaweed and algae -- and a seal had been purportedly sunbathing on a nearby rock before our arrival -- the biggest find were the homemade cupcakes. Clearly, someone's mother spent entirely too much time honing her Martha Stewart skills whilst in exile in New Zealand. [Hey, maybe New Zealand was just a ruse and she was really doing time, just like her idol Martha.]

What great pictures! Looks like so much fun. And those cupcakes? Man, I'll have to make sure my children do not see that picture.
Those ARE amazing cupcakes. Do they teach cake decorating in prison? Just asking, you know.
