You know what I love about Freecycle? Freakin' everything. The many minutes of entertainment to be gained each day reading what people are offering up -- a used back scratcher! DVD jewel cases! compost material! -- or what they are desiring -- Danish modern furniture! luau party supplies! a toilet seat! -- just can't be beat by any run-of-the-mill Facebook game.
Then there's the way of getting rid of quality items too unwieldy for Goodwill. I've gotten rid of mattresses and over-the-hill Power Wheels and TVs.
But, mostly, there's the stuff I've scored. And my very most favoritest is the stuff I've scored that keeps on giving. Here's the kangaroo's paw I planted in the back 40. So pretty. Particularly because it was free.

That is a GORGEOUS flower. I signed up for Freecycle, but I'm not sure I'm in an area to score that well. Although used backscratchers are probably available.
I have to say that that is one freebie worth the rescue!
Pretty flower but it isn't a kangaroo's paw, sis.
