Wordy Wednesday #72: Me and Another Plant

Wrinkle, Wrinkle, Little Star
After last week's debacle -- being called out by me own flesh 'n' blood I were -- I hesitate to tell you what I think the plant in the picture is called.

But I can tell you that the old lady with the inexplicably bemused expression on her face is none other than me.

Happy Wednesday.

Happy Wednesday, and both you and the plant look gorgeous. :)

I have a plant like that in my yard. It was in a pot for YEARS, and last year didn't produce any flowers at all. It was a bleak year for me emotionally, so that seemed appropriate, but I suspect that it had nothing to do with me and all to do with the plant outgrowing its HUGE pot. So this year I dug a hole in the ground and pulled the plant from its pot, and you guessed...totally rootbound. So now it's in the ground, and so far as I can tell it's much happier, and has two blooms. Yay!

I don't know what it's called either, just that they're EVERYWHERE.
