Wordy Wednesday #85: An Obligatory Photo

Thank you, dear sister of mine, for that make-up kit you gave Daughter and me. It was one of those gift-with-purchases. I finally had an opportunity to use it, lo these many years later.




That's your "favorite" nephew, in case you don't recognize him with his new beard, on the right. The black mascara worked really well on his beard and on his best friend's one, too. I'm quite proud of my handiwork.

Oh, yeah, that's my leather jacket. He has claimed my 18-year-old jacket as his own. Permanently.

Teenagers.

When I was in 5th grade, a classmate of mine went as a greasy spoon short-order cook. His mom put honey on his face and stuck coffee grounds to him. I thought it was incredibly disgusting in appearance but incredibly cool as a solution to a problem. Funny how I still remember that after all these years. Nathan. I wonder what happened to him...
