Laughter is the Best Medicine (I Can Afford)

Look what came in my Valpak envelope today.

Come on, Anthem Blue Cross. Are you telling me you couldn't pull your Valpak ad? Because you can't honestly believe someone could be so monumentally stupid as to buy a policy with you bloodsuckers in light of the latest in a long line of bloodsucking actions your company has taken.

That reminds me. Given what leeches you are, am I correct in assuming you cover leeching as an acceptable medical practice?

If truth in advertising were actually enforceable, you'd be forced to say:

"At Anthem Blue Cross, we can make you lose control. We have a broad choice of individual health coverage plans that we won't sell you if you actually need help protecting you and your loved ones. And best of all, we're here to kick you to the side of the road quickly."

This is all in response to the health care and jobs bills going on here in Washington. DC is reduced to fighting and health care companies are reduces to f ing the customer while we wait for something to happen.
