And let's further say that the second school was closer to your house than the neighborhood school to which your kids were assigned.
Would you send your kids to the second school if you could?
Now, let's shift to middle schools. Let's say your middle school's scores looked like this:
And let's say you could take advantage of the completely and utterly f$#ked up No Child Left Behind act and get your kid transferred to a school 3.5 miles away (versus the local middle school 1.1 miles away), and the school had these scores:
