Grateful for the Uneventful

Why, yes, I did send this to everyone on my Christmas list. And I meant every word.

No grave illness, serious injury or hospital stay.
No runaway kids or teen pregnancies, okay?
No divorces or deaths coming our way.
No foreclosure for us or bills we can’t pay.
No earthquake, flood or storm holding at bay.
No suspensions or expulsions to explain away.
May next year be as uneventful, we pray.

Merry Christmas from the boring Patois Family.

Boring is good. Merry Christmas! It was quiet/boring over here too--isn't that lovely?

A boring 2011 sounds good to me too. I've had enough drama and excitement.... thankyouverymuch.
